‘House of Spoils’ Trailer Is Cooking Up A Devilishly Good Time
I hope you’re hungry, because co-writers and co-directors Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy are cooking up something delicious in their new film House of Spoils. Culinary horror is a personal favorite and with the culinary world being dominated by men, it’s exciting to see a different perspective on working in the kitchen.
In the film,
House of Spoils follows an ambitious chef (Ariana DeBose) as she opens a restaurant on a remote estate where she battles kitchen chaos, crushing self-doubts… and a haunting presence who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.

Cole and Krudy previously worked together on their feature film debut Blow The Man Down, a lo-fi revenge thriller that proved their character-building abilities. Joining the directors is food stylist Zoe Hegedus, who consulted on the film. Her previous credits include Midsommar,Poor Things, Dune: Part 1, and Dune: Part 2. She specializes in creating food for movies, TV series, immersive eating experiences, food installations and edible tablescapes.
Ariana DeBose, Barbie Ferreira, Arian Moayed, Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas star in the film.
House of Spoils comes to Prime Video on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from Blumhouse.
