‘Alien: Rogue Incursion’ Trailer: Get Your First Look At New Xenomorph Horrors

There was some great news coming out of the Playstation State of Play live event on Thursday, with the announcement that 20th Century Games and Survios have teamed up on a new Alien game titled Alien: Rogue Incursion. The upcoming game is set to be a survival horror shooter.

Developer Survios Games promises to deliver everything you would expect from an ALIEN game, saying that fans will “Confront your deepest fears as you embark on missions that will push the boundaries of horror.” The team is no stranger to working with existing IP. Previously, the developer has worked on games such as The Walking Dead: Onslaught and the DICE nominee Westworld: Awakening.

ALIEN: Rogue Incursion will drop fans into an abandoned facility on LV-354 (Purdan), a planet never before seen in the film franchise. However, this planet is found in the Micor sector of the Frontier, as referenced in Alien: The Roleplaying Game. While other Alien games have been playable in VR through various means, this marks the first game in the franchise’s history to be developed specifically for VR platforms from the ground up.

The teaser trailer and the unfinished game screenshots below don’t give away much about the experience. We do know that the title will most likely be released with a Mature rating from the ESRB offering single-player with offline play enabled and will support Sitting, Standing, and Roomscale playstyles.
