We’ve been talking about Sam Miserendino’s graphic novel Prince of Pieces, a satirical horror story about the return of Jesus, for several years now. Finally it’s nearing completion, and what better day to unveil an exclusive early look than Friday the 13th?!? Fresh off the cross, here are four new images.
Miserendino promises it’s all meant to be in the holy spirit of gory fun with a little pointed commentary thrown in.
Synopsis:
For two thousand years you’ve been eating His flesh and drinking His blood… Now it’s His turn!
The Son of God is mad as hell, and He disposes of sinners with biblical panache. Those He encounters suffer gruesome fates: Some are inflicted with leprosy and stigmata; others are turned into pillars of salt.
