Written by Justin Benson, who also co-directed the film with Aaron Moorhead, Resolution was the winner of Best Screenplay and Most Innovative Film at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. The movie stars Peter Cilella and Vinny Curran and features Zahn McClarnon and Bill Oberst, Jr.

Michael (Cilella) is committed to getting his best friend Chris (Curran) to sober up and get his life back on track. With the best of intentions, Michael implements a plan to convince Chris to go to rehab before his drug addiction leads to an early death. But what begins as an attempt to save his friend’s life quickly takes an unexpected turn as the two friends confront personal demons, the consequences of past actions, and forces beyond their control.


Static stars Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes”), Sarah Shahi (“The L Word”), and Sara Paxton (The Last House on the Left, The Innkeepers).

While coping with the tragic death of their child, a young novelist (Ventimiglia) and his wife (Shahi) are struggling just to keep their marriage alive. Their broken romance is put to the test when a mysterious girl (Paxton) shows up at their door in the middle of the night claiming masked prowlers are stalking her. The ominous situation turns even darker when the dangerous hooligans show up at their door to wreak havoc. As a game of cat and mouse ensues, the couple must work together to survive and uncover the mystery behind the attack. Soon past secrets begin to unfold… for better or worse.
