‘In A Violent Nature’ Teaser Trailer: He’s Coming…
Coming soon to Shudder is In A Violent Nature, a unique take on the slasher that’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen. At least, according to the new teaser trailer for Chris Nash‘s feature film debut. While Nash has worked on several indie horror darlings, including Psycho Goreman, this is his first time taking the director’s chair for a feature.
In the new film:
When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 60-year-old crime, his body is resurrected, and becomes hellbent on retrieving it. The undead golem hones in on the group of vacationing teens responsible for the theft and proceeds to methodically slaughter them one by one in his mission to get it back – along with anyone in his way.

The Friday The 13th vibes are strong with this one. But reviews coming out of Sundance, where In A Violent Nature, had its world premiere, ensure that this slasher is more than its predecessors.
