Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is a game with a long name New in 2022
It seems like ever since I reviewed Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector everyone has turned to me for the hottest Warhammer 40k coverage. I’m not complaining. It’s more of a burden I must carry. To have my brain filled utterly and completely by Warhammer lore is my curse. Since I bear this great responsibility; I’d like to tell you that Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is coming out in 2022. A cinematic trailer was released which you can see below, and the game is described as such:
“Armoured in faith and shielded by devotion, the Grey Knights are humanity’s greatest weapon in the 41st Millennium. Controlling a Strike Force of these superhuman Daemonhunters. Players will experience the visceral, brutal combat the Warhammer 40,000 universe is renowned for, while following the journey of these battle-brothers in a narrative penned by acclaimed New York Times bestselling author, Aaron Dembski-Bowden.”
Looks like they’re throwing a lot of power behind this game. For the unaware, Aaron Dembski-Bowden is the acclaimed author for the Black Library. The Black Library is the publishing arm of Warhammer 40K’s Games Workshop. Props to them for sitting down and trying to suss the lore out of this series. It is known for being more lore-heavy than most. I know nothing about the Grey Knights, which means my Warhammer lore journey continues in 2022 when Daemonhunters hits the scene. I dug the tactical RPG elements of Battlesector with it’s Blood Knights. Hopefully Frontier Games can bring that fire with Daemonhunters. It’ll be nice to fight something other than giant bugs for once. You can check out the trailer below and wishlist Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters on Steam.
