If Guillermo Del Toro is involved with something, you can be pretty sure it’ll be worth checking out. Up next for the visionary filmmaker? He wants to re-introduce us to some of his favorite classic horror stories!
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Del Toro has partnered up with Penguin Classics to curate the Penguin Horror hardcover series, comprised of six books of classic horror fiction. Tales like Frankenstein and H.P. Lovecraft’s The Thing on the Doorstep are given new life in the series, featuring introductions by Del Toro.
You can expect all the books in the series to go on sale September 24th.
