Song Of Horror Releases Fifth Episode That Brings Psychological Horror Series To A Conclusion

Song of Horror: Fear the Presence has released the fifth and final episode of their survival horror game,. Created by Protocol Games, this episode faced a number of development challenges that resulted in delays, this latest expansion also brings several new features in addition to the conclusion of the story.

Song of Horror is a five-part (obviously) anthology of stories, where a total of 13 different playable characters experience an interconnected horror called The Presence. A famous writer named Sebastian Husher and his family have gone missing, and the disappearances  “spark a set of events that will soon reveal something dreadful: a nameless, dark entity known only as The Presence seems to be responsible.“ Each character brings a unique perspective to the narrative, and use their differences to investigate the mystery in their own way. However, The Presence is a powerful entity, and should a character die, their death is permanent.

This concluding Song of Horror episode will take place at the Jeremy Hartwood Mental Hospital. By building “a bridge into the past to change the dooming future,” players will finally confront The Presence and uncover the true nature of The Song. Additionally, Protocol has added a feature that allows players to turn off permadeath if they are struggling, though they encourage people to use it only when necessary.
