More Details on the Supernatural Spinoff Series

As we reported earlier this month during San Diego Comic-Con, “Supernatural” has a spinoff series in the works, and we now have a few more details to share.

Building on the first word we got that the show will be “more urban than back roads” in nature and feature “a whole new cast of characters,” TVLine has learned that Chicago will be the setting for the potential new series, and all is not peaceful there. The project will explore the clashing hunter and monster cultures in the Windy City.

We won’t get our first look at what the powers-that-be have in mind until Episode 20 of the upcoming ninth season so be patient. At least The CW moved the season premiere up a week to Tuesday, October 8th!
