Fans Describe This New Horror Entry On The Hulu Charts As: “‘The Babadook’ meets ‘Barbarian'”
One of the most underrated horror movies of the year has just made a little nest for itself on the Hulu charts. The film crawled onto the app a few days ago and has been catching a wider audience than its very limited theatrical release allowed it. We are very happy to report that the people have Cobweb on the brain this week. Let us untangle what we know about this disturbing title.
Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis
“Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall — a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?”

Cobweb was directed by Samuel Bodin. It was written by Chris Thomas Devlin. It stars Lizzy Caplan, Woody Norman, Cleopatra Coleman, and Antony Starr.
Most viewers are living for how unsettling the movie is. Many are also losing it over Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr getting to do something scarier than most of their fans have come to expect from them.

Cobweb is Samuel Bodin’s first full-length feature. However, I highly recommend checking out Marianne on Netflix when you’re ready to see more of his work. He directed and co-wrote that creepy little series that not enough people are talking about.
