As any avid horror fan can tell you, Tubi is the place to be. They have a plethora of old-school titles, new original movies, and they are also starting to collect some of our favorite genre TV shows. Here are the ten most popular horror movies streaming on Tubi:
10. Hannibal Rising (2007)
Tubi viewers love all incarnations of society’s favorite cannibal. The Hannibal series is also trending on the app, so I imagine people are plotting their Halloween menus as they hang out with Dr. Lecter.
9. 28 Weeks Later (2007)
The long-awaited sequel to 28 Days Later finds a different group of survivors fending off the undead. This movie also adds some new but familiar faces to the world like Harold Perrineau, Rose Byrne, and Idris Elba.
8. Fright Night (2011)
This polarizing remake of a beloved 80s gem certainly gets a lot of love this time of year. While our communal crushes on David Tennant and Colin Farrell are part of the reason, I think it’s also a nice way to remember the late Anton Yelchin.
7. Bone Tomahawk (2016)
Western horror is a hard sell. However, this one is packing a stacked cast and enough violence to keep the people interested. So, it’s no wonder people are hitting play on Tubi, as we speak.
6. Oculus (2012)
The people love a Mike Flanagan project. So it stands to reason if they have free access to one of his titles, it’s going to trend. As a Doctor Who nerd, I’m just happy Karen Gillan keeps talking to our genre.

5. The Nun (2018)
Because the sequel came out last month, it stands to reason that this would be charting on any app it’s available on. I wouldn’t be surprised if some people were even still in the throws of a Conjuring Universe marathon.

With so many Tubi originals to choose from it’s always fascinating to see which ones rise to the top. This slasher seems to be the one people are living for, at the moment. We should hurry to hit play so we can join the cool kids.
3. Terrifier (2016)
The people can’t get enough of Art the Clown, so we’re not shocked that this popular killer is…well, killing it with the Tubi crowd. Nothing says October like sadistic murders on Halloween.
2. Prometheus (2012)
Long live the Alien franchise under the horror umbrella! However you feel about this one, it has Idris Elba and Charlize Theron. So, of course, Tubi users are going to hit play.

There’s something about indie movies claiming to be based on real events that send all of us to the TV. That magic formula worked really well, as this movie is the most popular horror title on the app today.
