‘Thanksgiving’ Trailer Prepares Us For A Bloody Feast [Watch]
Pull up a chair and get ready to eat, because Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving is going to feed us this November. The new trailer, released yesterday, teases a series of food-related murders all done by a villain in a pilgrim costume. It’s utterly ridiculous on paper but the trailer shows one bloody good time. Plus, for all of us who loved the fake trailer by Roth featured in Grindhouse, this release is 20 years in the making.
In Thanksgiving:
After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?

A woman getting dressed and roasted like a turkey? Corn holders being used as murder weapons? Dare I say Eli Roth is back, baby, with what looks like a slew of disgusting and entertaining kills. What better way to end your Thanksgiving feast than with this little romp??
Jeff Rendell wrote the script based on a story by himself and Roth. Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon star in the film.
Thanksgiving comes exclusively to theaters on November 17, 2023.
