Not So Super News for Chronicle 2

Some really crappy superhero related news has hit the internet. Max Landis has announced via Twitter that he’s no longer involved with Chronicle 2. Read on for details.

“Chronicle 2 is still probably happening, just not with my involvement as of now. It’s a bummer, but there are no real hard feelings,” he stated. “They hired new writers on it. I’m sure they’ll announce soon. Just hope this answers the questions I’ve been getting everyday.”

In the original film, directed by Josh Trank and written by Landis, three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny telekinetic powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control as their darker sides begin to take over. What starts out as fun and games quickly becomes dangerous and they must face the inevitable question of whether they can handle the responsibility that comes with their remarkable powers.
