“I am convinced he is a good actor”: The Rock Dominates Netflix Charts With High-Octane Thriller

This action thriller has been cooking on the Netflix charts for a few weeks. It might have something to do with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson surprising his fans with a more dramatic role than they are used to seeing him in. Viewers can definitely smell what he is cooking in Snitch, and they seem to be eating it up. Let’s get into this movie for the uninitiated.

Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis

“At 18 years old, Jason receives a mandatory 10-year prison sentence after being caught with a package that contained illegal drugs, although he was unaware of its contents. His father, businessman John Matthews (Dwayne Johnson), is devastated. When Jason turns down a chance to lessen his sentence by manufacturing evidence to implicate someone else, John begs to be sent undercover instead, but the already dangerous venture turns deadly after he exposes a major player in the Mexican drug trade.”

This movie definitely snuck by me when it came out in 2013. However, I feel like obligated to watch any movie with Michael K. Williams and David Harbour in the cast. If you are still on the fence, check out the trailer below.
