The DreadXP Bone Jam Wants You To Make A Video Game

Do you think you have what it takes to make your own video games? Then now is your time to shine, buttercup. The DreadXP Bone Jam is encouraging you to make your own game this September. They are also offering Steam gift cards for the top 3 projects created during the submission window.

The official prompt finds you stranded in a cabin in the middle of the woods. You come across a letter addressed to Eustace B. Marrowmire, which sets off a chain of disturbing events leading you to make some major choices before deciding where you want the story to go.

Whether you want it to be quick, cute, nightmare fuel, or sadistic is between you and your computer. After you complete your horrific tale, you’ll be able to submit it for others to evaluate as you vote for the work of other Bone Jammers.

Submissions are open from September 13th, 2023 at 9:00 AM to September 27th, 2023 at 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time). People who choose to partake can find the full prompt, rules, and access to the community Discord on The DreadXP Bone Jam official website.

To be eligible to win prizes, contestants must be 18 years or older. We encourage you to start gearing up as people are already starting to assemble teams to help create their disturbing games.

May the odds be ever in your favor! Who knows, maybe we’ll see your game in a Dread X Collection soon. Learn more about the contest on The DreadXP Bone Jam website. Also, let us know if you’re having fun at @DreadXPGames.  Because we’re sure having fun gearing up for the event.
