Stephen King Raves Over Netflix Horror Series, Calling It ‘Existential hell in the suburbs”

Black Summer

Stephen King had another recommendation for those looking for a new Netflix binge. The horror author is one of many fans of this unique zombie series that lasted two seasons on the streamer. The scribe had only good things to say about Black Summer in this Tweet heard around the world.

When Stephen Kings described it as, “Existential hell in the suburbs, stripped to the bone,” our ears perked up. We were very happy he was talking about this beloved show, and we have to say we agree with his assessment.

I started watching this Black Summer recently for podcast reasons I cannot talk about, yet. I’m in the middle of the first season and can honestly say it feels like something Stephen King would be into.
