FrightFest will be returning to Leicester Square for its twenty-fourth edition next month, and the full lineup for this year’s event has just been announced. As usual, the event will be held at the Cineworld Leicester Square, with the films being played across multiple screens.

The festival will open with the European premiere of Suitable Flesh, a Re-Animator-influenced body horror picture by regular FrightFest director Joe Lynch, and actress Barbara Crampton will be in attendance for the screening. Other films set to be screened throughout the five-day event include Punch, Werewolf Santa, A Million Days, Hostile Dimensions, That’s a Wrap, Monolith, Cobweb, Good Boy, Raging Grace, and director Stewart Sparke’s How to Kill Monsters.

And a particularly notable film set to receive its world premiere at the event will be Doctor Jekyll, a female-led reimagining of the story of Jekyll and Hyde with Eddie Izzard playing the titular role. There will also be retrospective screenings of The Conjuring and The Exorcist, the latter of which will be hosted by renowned critic and horror-aficionado Mark Kermode. Many other interesting films will be played at the event, with The Sacrifice Game by director Jenn Wexler serving as the closing night film.

On the other hand, various documentaries will also be featured throughout the event, including The J-Horror Virus, Otto Baxter: Not A F***ing Horror Story, [REC]: Horror Without Pause, and Kim’s Video. And fans of American horror will be intrigued to learn that several US horror films, including The Weird Kidz, Departing Seniors, Trim Season, and Eight Eyes, will be screened.

You can view the full lineup for this year’s event on the official FrightFest website, and you can also purchase your passes here. Once again, it seems like FrightFest will clearly be the place to be for horror fans, so you really will not want to miss out on this spectacular event.
