Oh, and did we mention there’s also a monster thrown into the mix?

“Considering the insane journey it took when conceiving this film, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate partner than the horror fanatics at SCREAMBOX,” enthuses Barr.
Barr directs Subject from a script by Vincent Befi. Stephen Phillips, Tristan Barr, Gaby Seow, Aaron Walton, and Cecilia Low star in the film. Barr and David Gim produce on behalf of Continuance Pictures.
“Subject is an isolating experience that pulls you deep inside the mind of someone convinced they are going mad,” says Brad Miska, Managing Director of Bloody Disgusting. “Horror fans will be left to wonder who the real monster is: the prisoner, the creature, or the watcher.”
Subject will have its North American premiere via the virtual portion of the Chattanooga Film Festival from June 23-29, 2023 before streaming on SCREAMBOX on August 22.
