Stephen King is becoming a stan account for this Apple TV+ dystopian drama. His continued love for Silo makes us think it might be one of the best shows on the app. He recently took to Twitter because, like the rest of us, he hates waiting for new episodes of an addictive series.

See what Stephen King said about Silo:

That was the same week he used his Twitter platform to alert the masses about the “Mysterious and terrifically suspenseful” new show. Two tweets in six days make it seem like he was binging these episodes like there is no tomorrow. We have all been there, and this makes him feel very relatable.

It seems Stephen isn’t alone in his love for this Apple TV+ phenomenon either. Silo is the #1 genre show on the streamer, which is no easy feat with competition like Servant and  Severance. Let’s get to know King’s new favorite show a bit better.

Synopsis

“In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground. After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.”

Silo is based on a book series by Hugh Howey. It was adapted for TV by Graham Yost. The show stars Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Common, Avi Nash, Harriet Walter, Iain Glen, Rashida Jones, and David Oyelowo.

Season 2 has already been green-lit for this sci-fi epic. This is huge news for a show that is still so young. Check out the trailer to see if you want to join Stephen King on this bandwagon.
