The #1 thriller on Netflix can include Stephen King among the many people in its rabid fanbase. Manifest is finally ending its flight this month, which reminded us of a few kind words the horror author had on the project, who also seems to be a constant viewer of the series.

King took to Twitter a little while back when he discovered the series had landed on Netflix. He wrote that it felt like “reuniting with old friends you thought were gone forever.” We assume he’s one of the many who rushed to see how the show would conclude last week.

Rotten Tomatoes TV Synopsis

When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. Yet in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years and their friends, families, and colleagues, after mourning their loss, had given up hope and moved on. Now, faced with the impossible, they’re all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.

Manifest was created by Jeff Rake. It stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, and Luna Blaise. It ran for 4 seasons consisting of 62 episodes.

The series originally ran on NBC before Netflix picked it up and gave it a fourth and final season. Which saved the show from ending with a cliffhanger due to its untimely cancellation.
