We’ve had our eye on this miniseries since it announced its cast. When we found out it would be about AI (artificial intelligence) interfering with the justice system, we leaned forward. We were not the only ones waiting on this show because it has scaled the charts this week. The #1 show on Hulu this week is an emotionally packed thriller titled Class of 09.
Synopsis
“Class of ’09 is a suspense thriller limited series that follows a class of FBI agents set in three distinct points in time who grapple with immense changes as the U.S. criminal justice system is altered by artificial intelligence. Spanning multiple decades and told across interweaving timelines, the series examines the nature of justice, humanity, and the choices we make that ultimately define our lives and legacy. The series stars Brian Tyree Henry as “Tayo,” one of the most unorthodox agents to ever join the bureau, and Kate Mara as “Poet,” one of the most successful undercover agents of all time.”

Class of 09 was created by Tom Rob Smith. It stars Brian Tyree Henry, Kate Mara, Sepideh Moafi, and Rosalind Eleazar. This FX network limited series debuted on May 10th and has been rolling out weekly episodes ever since.
The three timelines, curious character names, and thriller aspects are cool. However, the only thing the internet is talking about is the Queer love story that keeps people coming back for more. Kate Mara and Sepideh Moafi’s chemistry might melt Twitter at this rate.
