‘MaXXXine’: Kevin Bacon, Halsey, And More Join The Cast For Ti West’s New Film

As Ti West dropped X and Pearl last year, he promised a third movie. We’ve known for a while that MaXXXine would be a sequel to and follow Mia Goth’s character Maxine. However, everything else has been kept under lock and key until now.

The rest of the cast was just announced, and we are losing our collective minds. According to Deadline, Goth will be joined by Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.), Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (Nanny), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), and the pop star Halsey.

The announcement also includes genre legends Giancarlo Esposito (The Boys and Kaleidoscope) and Kevin Bacon (Friday the 13th and Tremors). In full transparency, I go wherever Esposito goes, and this plan to separate me from my money is very effective.

MaXXXine will follow Maxine, who was the only survivor of the bloody incidents of X, as she continues her journey towards fame to be an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.

This will be the third vastly different era West uses for the background of this A24 franchise. We’re expecting neon colors and maybe a couple of 80 rock songs, but otherwise, we won’t even pretend to predict what this movie will be.

A24 made a very fun retro video reveal to announce the cast:

Have you been waiting on pins and needles for updates on MaXXXine? Are you also scream crying while trying to figure out how this cast was assembled? Did this cast announcement get you as excited as I am? I doubt it. However, let me know anyway at @misssharai.
