British filmmaker Christopher Smith is known for his dark period piece Black Death as well as his kill-your-coworkers horror Severance (not to be confused with the new series on Apple+). His work is gorgeous and haunting, which is why we’re excited to share the trailer for his new religious horror film Consecration starring Jena Malone.

After the suspicious death of her brother, a priest, Grace (Jena Malone) goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened. Once there, she uncovers murder, sacrilege, and a disturbing truth about her own past.
