Casting News and a Sales One-Sheet Rise from Beneath

Just in time for Cannes we’ve dug our claws into the first casting news and one-sheet for Ben Katai’s (30 Days of Night: Dark Days) new flick, Beneath, and we’ve gotta say… Harry Warden would be proud. Check it out!
The film, which is currently shooting, stars Jeff Fahey, Kelly Noonan and Joey Kern, as well as Brent Briscoe, Rene Rivera, Mark L. Young, Kurt Caseres, David Shackelford, Ashway Lawver and Jason Masek.
Patrick J. Doody and Chris Valenziano wrote the screenplay on spec, and former Dimension Films and Screen Gems executive Nick Phillips and veteran casting director Kelly Wagner’s recently formed Revolver Picture Company picked it up late last year.
Synopsis
A team of coal miners and a headstrong female lawyer are trapped underground when the mine collapses. Turns out they are not the only ones who want to get to the surface.
