Sorry Jack, Chucky’s Back! Check Out The Killer Teaser for ‘Chucky’ Season 2

Chucky season 2 Devon Sawa

The first season of Syfy’s Chucky TV series surprised horror fans with how brutal and downright fun it was. In the first season, teenager Jake finds a Good Guy doll at a yard sale and buys him for an art project. But, of course, this doll is possessed by notorious serial killer Charles Lee Ray. The first season was full of familiar faces, fresh meat, and touching themes about acceptance and grappling with your sexuality. Now, Chucky is coming back to Syfy on October 2 for his second season.

After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, can “Jevon” make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?

Watch the new teaser, which premiered out of San Diego Comic Con:

Glen/da make an appearance in the trailer, though this time they appear to be two humans rather than one doll. They appropriately pull up in a cotton candy-pink car with a license plate that reads, ‘THEY THEM’.

Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly return in the second season of Chucky, as well as Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, and Barbara Alyn Woods.

Devon Sawa has signed on for season two, donning a priest’s garb as seen in the teaser.

The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group. Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner, and Jeff Renfroe are executive producers.
