One Tree Hill Vet Joins Dexter Season 8 in Recurring Role

Some casting news has come in with regard to the upcoming eighth season of Showtime’s “Dexter.” It looks like a former star of “One Tree Hill” and “Guiding Light” is moving next door to our favorite serial killer!

Per TV Guide, Bethany Joy Lenz will play Cassie, “an attractive former finance executive looking for a quieter life,” who is slated to debut in the season’s fourth episode. She joins the previously announced new cast members Rhys Coiro, Charlotte Rampling, Nick Gomez, and Sean Patrick Flanery.

“Dexter,” starring Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, returns to Showtime on June 30th.
