The final bit of key casting news for NBC’s supernatural western pilot “The Sixth Gun” has arrived with Elena Satine signing on to play the “widow” Missy Hume, a powerful Madame who runs the town of Brimstone kept unnaturally youthful by being in possession of the Fifth Gun.
Missy is a cold, stunningly beautiful woman of great cunning who is unafraid to use whatever means necessary to collect all Six Guns for her own dark purposes.
Written by Ryan Condal based on the comic, directed by Jeffrey Reiner, and produced by Universal TV, the supernatural Western follows the story of six mythical guns, each with its own other-worldly powers. When the Sixth Gun, the most powerful and dangerous of the group, resurfaces in the hands of an innocent girl, a farmer’s daughter named Becky Montcrief (Laura Ramsey), dark forces reawaken. Pedro Pascal, Aldis Hodge, James LeGros, and Chin Han also star.

During the darkest days of the Civil War, wicked cutthroats came into possession of six pistols of otherworldly power. The Sixth Gun – the most dangerous of the weapons – vanished. When the gun surfaces in the hands of an innocent girl (Ramsey), dark forces reawaken. Villains thought long dead set their sights on retrieving the gun and killing anyone in their path. Only Drake Sinclair, a gunslinger with a shadowy past, stands in their way.
