Finally a director has been named for the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise, tentatively titled Jurassic Park 4. Read on for all the details, and get ready, kids, as this probably means things are set to hit the fast track.
According to Variety Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow has been tapped to helm the next installment in the dino-rific series. Universal Pictures and Steven Spielberg are ready to re-open the famous park, setting a June 13, 2014, release date for Jurassic Park 4 3D. Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver penned the script, but plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
