‘The Exorcism of God’ Unleashes Unholy Terror Upon The Innocent [Trailer]

THE EXORCISM OF GOD

Religion and horror go together like the most terrifying peanut butter and jelly you’ve ever seen. Films such as The Exorcist, The Omen, and The Last Exorcism have made the Devil and his worshippers the ultimate threat. And an ex-Catholic, that fear is very real. Now, director Alejandro Hidalgo (The House at the End of Time) is entering the god-fearing ring with his new film The Exorcism of God. What a title.

The Exorcism of God follows Peter Williams, an American priest working in Mexico. There, he’s considered a saint by many local parishioners. However, due to a botched exorcism, he carries a dark secret that’s eating him alive until he gets an opportunity to face his own demon one final time.

Check out the new bone-chilling trailer below:

Hidalgo wrote The Exorcism of God with Santiago Fernández Calvete (Sangre Vurdalak). Joseph Marcell (“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”), María Gabriela de Faría (“The Moodys”, “Deadly Class”), Will Beinbrink (It Chapter Two, “Dark”), Hector Kotsifakis (“Malverde: El Santo Patrón”), and Irán Castillo (“SOS Me estoy enamorando”) star in the film.

Saban Films releases The Exorcism of God in theaters, on demand, and digital on March 11th.
