‘Creepshow’ Exclusive Clip: A Demonic Pandemic Rages On In The Latest Episode

After spending over a year and a half in a pandemic, horror creators have unsurprisingly taken the crisis and interpreted it into their own stories about contagion. Such is the case in the latest episode of Shudder’s Creepshow in the segment “Meter Reader.”

“Meter Reader” is the second story of Creepshow‘s season three’s fourth episode. In the middle of a demonic pandemic, a teenager must fight to keep her friends and family safe. John Esposito (a Creepshow regular) wrote “Meter Reader” and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2, Mayhem) directed it.
The clip features some all-too-familiar conversations about when schools are going to open up. The too cheery disposition of the mother is familiar as we all want to put on strong faces. Meanwhile, we’re crumbling inside. Of course, we have our teenage protagonist to take us all down a peg with her cynical, yes realistic, negativity.

The first segment of Creepshow, “Stranger Sings,” is written by Jordana Arkin and directed by Axelle Carolyn. Barry thinks he will get lucky when he meets a cute new girl who invites him back to her place for a drink. Come to find out, she’s a siren, and he’s in for much more than he bargained for.
This episode of Creepshow stars Johnathon Schaech (Legends of Tomorrow), Abigail Dolan (Ordinary Joe), Cynthia Evans (Five Feet Apart), Boston Pierce (Doom Patrol), Samantha Worthen (Banshee), Reagan Higgins, Matt Skollar (NCIS: New Orleans), Omer Mughal (Outer Banks), Hannah Aslesen (Loki) and John Crow.
