NARR8 is excited to share with you news that NARR8 has hit #1 in the App Store for entertainment and has announced the release of a free Android app dated for next Tuesday, February 19.
NARR8 is a free iPad app featuring episodic motion comics and interactive tales of sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and more. A revolutionary publishing platform that goes beyond eBooks with lush animation, cinematic soundtracks, and game elements that deeply immerse the reader with virtual currency and collectibles, NARR8 actually has its roots in gaming as the sister company to social mobile game publisher Game Insight.

It’s time to celebrate at NARR8, since the app has hit #1 entertainment app and the top ten free iPad list after launching all-new interactive features and collectible items in the free 1.1.0 update. These engaging new features have helped NARR8 continue to rapidly climb the charts on the App Store!
NARR8 offers an extensive library of innovative and exciting multimedia content in the form of motion comics, interactive eBooks, and edutainment (educational entertainment) that comes alive with dynamic animations, colorful special effects, and full music soundtracks with a single tap of the touchscreen. With this new update, NARR8 introduces virtual currency called “NARRs” that are transferred to a user’s account automatically after they perform certain activities within the application. By performing actions such as registration, reading an episode, or sharing their activity via social media, NARR8 users automatically earn “NARRs” that are added to their accounts, and can be exchanged to snag collectible items for each series.
“We are eager to engage users in the NARR8 space beyond the reading experience presented by our multimedia stories. Minor game elements were introduced initially and received such enthusiasm by fans that we decided to continue moving further in this direction with the addition of virtual currency and collectibles,” said NARR8 founder Alexander Vashchenko.
