1677 Round Top Road, in Burrillville, Rhode Island, was once the home of the Perrons—a family who claimed the house was haunted by a 19th-century witch named Bathsheba. Claims of ghostly happenings were investigated by famed paranormal researchers/demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. This became the inspiration for James Wan’s The Conjuring, released in 2013.
Over the years, The Conjuring House (as it’s often called) has been re-opened to teams of paranormal investigators. But if you’d like to do more than watch a special or visit the location, you’re in luck: 1677 Round Top Road can be yours to own for a cool $1.2 million.
The property is currently listed on the Mott & Chace/Sotheby’s International Realty website. The company’s released the video below.
If you happen to actually be in the market for it, here’s a description of the property:
“Legend has it, the home is haunted by the presence of Bathsheba Sherman, who lived in the house in the 1800’s. To this day, countless happenings have been reported. The chilling stories, incidents, and recollections of residents and visitors of the property have been told in dozens of media productions including books, movies, and television shows.
Located on eight acres, the home is just over 3,000 square feet and features three bedrooms and one- and one-half bathrooms. Interested parties must provide proof of funds for in-person viewing of property and sign an NDA for release of full property financials. Please contact Ben Kean 401-954-3965 or Ben Gugliemi 401-339-7966 for more information. Detailed pro forma available upon request to qualified buyers.”
