Regular readers of Dread Central know that I’m a huge fan of Oingo Boingo, the alternative rock band fronted by Danny Elfman (best known these days as a film composer). Elfman recently released his first solo album in almost 37 years; Big Mess is utterly spectacular.

Now, Elfman has teamed up with Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor (who also spends most of his time these days scoring movies) for a gritty, industrial remix of the track “True”! Check it out below.

“This is the first duet/collaboration I’ve ever done in my life, so to do it with Trent was a real surprise and a treat,” Elfman tells Rolling Stone.
