“My name is Zak Bagans and I never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one…” This was the original introduction to the lead investigator of the long-running paranormal series Ghost Adventures. Since finding success with Ghost Adventures, Bagans has moved onto many projects including producing, writing, editing, and directing.

Bagans opened his Haunted Museum in downtown Las Vegas, NV back in 2017. Since opening, his museum has been voted “#1 Best Haunted Destination in America” by USA Today and “Best Attraction in Vegas”-LV Weekly.
In 2019 Bagans produced and starred in the documentary Demon House about the most haunted home in the United States and served as Executive Producer on the offbeat thriller Sympathy, Said the Shark in 2017. As well as executive producing numerous paranormal series for Travel Channel over the years.
Now Bagans will guest on the newest season of Food Network’s Halloween Wars, premiering September 19, 2021. Bagans made the announcement on his Instagram account saying,
“Hey everyone, I am so excited to announce that I have joined the new season of “Halloween Wars”, premiering Sunday September 19th at 9pm ET/PT on @foodnetwork and discovery+. During the entire season I take inspiration from my collection of haunted & mysterious artifacts from my Haunted Museum in Las Vegas to challenge the teams to create frighteningly intricate cakes that are as spooky as they are tasty! Get ready!”
Halloween Wars originally premiered on Food Network in 2011. In this four-episode competition series, five teams are comprised of candy makers, pumpkin carvers, and cake decorators. While working together to create the ultimate Halloween-themed display, the competition becomes fierce. One team is eliminated each week and the winner takes home $50,000.
Personally, I am a huge fan of Mr. Bagans and am looking especially forward to this season of Halloween Wars!
