Latest RICK AND MORTY Anime Short is SUMMER MEETS GOD by Takashi Sano

Rick and Morty went anime back in March of 2020 with a short called Samurai & Shogun written and directed by Kaichi Sato (link below).

It happened again in July of 2020 with The Genocider written and directed by Takashi Sano (Tower of God). Now, Sano has delivered another Rick and Morty animated short! Check out Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil) below.

Synopsis:
Summer’s new boyfriend isn’t human, Jerry’s in big trouble as usual, and Rick is well… just being Rick. Don’t miss the new Rick and Morty short, Summer meets God from Takashi Sano acclaimed director of the Tower of God series.

Summer Meets God is produced by Sola Entertainment and animated at Telecom Animation Film.

Show Description:
After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth’s doorstep to move in with her and her family. Although Beth welcomes Rick into her home, her husband, Jerry, isn’t as happy about the family reunion. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. But that’s not all Rick does that concerns Jerry. He also goes on adventures across the universe that often involve his grandchildren, Morty and Summer.

Rick and Morty was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon.
