Last week, we were honored to exclusively release some “First Look” images from The Welder. Today, we’re equally pleased to exclusively debut the film’s trailer! Check it out and read more about the movie below.

Synopsis:
In this ambitious and unsettling Florida-set horror film, a young couple travels to the Everglades to help relieve their anxiety and to bring them closer together. What at first appears to be a seemingly pastoral paradise soon transforms into a sinister, dread-soaked nightmare as a vicious madman terrorizes them for his demented experiments. Brilliantly merging the horrors of Frankenstein and Get Out, this shocking thriller carries a powerful message, especially during today’s unhinged times.

The Welder is directed by David Liz from a screenplay he co-wrote with Manuel Delgadillo. The film stars Vincent De Paul, Roe Dunkley, and Camila Rodríguez.

The 7th annual Popcorn Frights Film Festival is taking place August 12th-19th with in-theater and virtual programming. Purchase tickets for The Welder World Premiere, HERE. A portion of all proceeds from the festival will go to benefit those impacted by the building collapse in Surfside, FL.
