Singer Goes Horror?
I guess we’re going to have to leave this one in the “rumors” category until we hear otherwise, so please take this with as much salt as your pre-clogged arteries can handle.
Though Bryan Singer’s come close to our genre before (specifically with his follow-up to The Usual Suspecets, the Stephen King adaptation Apt Pupil), he’s never really done anything balls-out horror. That might be changing soon as Bloody Disgusting learned from an anonymous source that Singer is producing a horror film called Trick or Treat to be directed by his Superman Returns co-writer Michael Dougherty.
What’s it about? Who will star? Will there be monsters? All that is unknown as of now, but I’m sure once the rumor starts growing, the facts will reveal themselves. The B-D crew did additionally report that Trick or Treat is supposed to hit theaters by October 5th of next year, so if it is happening, it’s going to happen fast!
