THE BOYS Season 3 Adds Laurie Holden as Recurring Character
In today’s “please when is The Boys Season 3 coming out” news: Laurie Holden has been tapped for a recurring role in the upcoming third season. You may remember her from her turn as Andrea in The Walking Dead. She’s also showed up in The Americans and Proven Innocent. Holden joins an already explosive cast including newcomers Sean Patrick Flanery, Miles Gaston, and Nick Wechsler. Also, who could forget good ol’ Jensen Ackles?
The Boys is based on the bestselling comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It follows a group of pseudo-mercenaries who do their best to keep superheroes accountable for their actions. The first and second seasons did big numbers for Amazon. The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Anthony Starr. and many more.

No details were given yet on Holden’s character. So far details of Season 3 are a bit scant. We know that there will be a time jump, and that the season will take place in 2024. Here’s hoping we see the season long before then. I kind of bounced off The Boys in its comic form, but the show’s more scaled-down approach to Ennis’ series is an absolute joy to watch.
