ROSWELL: THE FINAL VERDICT is Landing July 2nd for National UFO Day

Aliens! Maybe they’re out there? We don’t know for sure. I’d like to know. The Discovery Channel also wants you to know. On Nation UFO Day, July 2nd, Discovery will be launching the end-all-be-all when it comes to Roswell. Roswell: The Final Verdict will air that day. All of this will fall on National UFO Day, which marks the anniversary of the crash and subsequent investigation in Roswell, New Mexico.

Synopsis: Roswell: The Final Verdict invades Discovery+ on the 74th anniversary of the most notorious extraterrestrial incident in U.S. history. In 1947, a rancher near Roswell, New Mexico claimed to have discovered mysterious debris on his property, triggeering decades of official government denials and countless conspiracy theories. Now, tapes of haunting first-person accounts from the past are being analyzed in a totally modern way – experts use artificial intelleigence lie detection software to test if the eyewitnesses are telling the truth. Although most of the witnesses are now deceased, AI permits truth to be separated from fiction and the most important UFO event in world history can be weighed in the balance with all the evidence at hand. Truth seekers will now decide…the final verdict.

That all sounds very intense, and I kind of hope they don’t get definitive answers about Roswell. I think aliens are just more fun if we don’t know. Granted, if any alien lands in a populated city center and wants to chat I’d be down. The mini-series is hosted by retired special agent and UFO expert Ben Hansen. The mini-series will drop it’s first 3 episodes July 2nd, while the later will fall on Fridays for the following 3 weeks.
