Mike Flanagan Announces Filmmakers Helming Episodes of THE MIDNIGHT CLUB
Doctor Sleep director Mike Flanagan is adapting Christopher Pike’s 1994 novel The Midnight Club for Netflix. Today, Flannagan took to Twitter to reveal a number of filmmakers who will be directing episodes of the upcoming series.

Rotterdam Home, a hospice where teenagers with terminal illnesses went to die, was home to the Midnight Club–a group of five young men and women who met at midnight and told stories of intrigue and horror. One night they made a pact that the first of them to die would make every effort to contact the others . . . from beyond the grave.
Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour is the director of 2020’s Black Box. Axelle Carolyn starred in and directed a chapter of Tales of Halloween, directed an episode of Shudder’s Creepshow, and previously worked with Flanagan directing an episode of The Haunting of Bly Manor. In television, Viet Nguyen has directed episodes of Lucifer, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Panic. In television, Morgan Beggs has directed episodes of The 4400, Smallville, and Once Upon a Time. Michael Fimognari has worked with Flanagan as the cinematographer on Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, Gerald’s Game, and Ouija: Origin of Evil.
Confirmed cast members for Mike Flanagan’s The Midnight Club include Heather Langenkamp, Iman Benson, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint, and Patricia Drake. Moo-Haha. Elan Gale, James Flanagan, and also Chinaka Hodge will write the series which Flanagan will create with Leah Fong. Flanagan and Fong will executive produce with Trevor Macy and Julia Bicknell.
