Trailer: New Religious Horror AGNES Drops in Advance of Tribeca Debut

“Nunsplotation” has a new name: Agnes! Those attending the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival (in person or virtually) will be able to check out Mickey Reece’s new religious horror movie Agnes on June 12th.

Synopsis:
A nun’s disturbing behavior sparks rumors of demonic possession at a remote convent. When a priest-in-waiting and his disillusioned mentor are sent to investigate, their methods backfire, leaving a wake of terror and trauma.

Agnes is directed by Mickey Reece from a screenplay co-scribed by John Selvidge; the film stars Molly Quinn, Jake Horowitz, Sean Gunn, Chris Browning, Ben Hall, Mary Buss, and Chris Sullivan.
