Horror History: Happy Birthday Danielle Harris!
On this day in horror history, one of the best scream queens of all time, Danielle Harris was born in Plainview, New York in 1977.

She is best known for her debut role as Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.
Danielle Harris returned to the Halloween series as Annie Brackett in writer-director Rob Zombie’s 2007 remake of John Carpenter’s classic and his follow-up sequel.
She also starred as Marybeth Dunston in writer-director Adam Green’s Hatchet II and Hatchet III (and Victor Crowley). And fittingly, she also appeared in the must-see Kane Hodder documentary To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story.
Danielle Harris’ other genre contributions include Urban Legend, Stake Land, ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2, and See No Evil 2. Not to mention The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond, Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet, The Victim, Inoperable, and Camp Cold Brook.
Not content to be one of the best scream queens ever, Harris also stepped behind the camera to direct Among Friends.
Outside the horror genre, Danielle Harris has also starred in many classics from childhood. Such as City Slickers, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, and Free Willy.
Plus action classics like Marked for Death, The Last Boy Scout, and Daylight. And for the record, she voiced Debbie Thornberry in The Wild Thornberrys.
