SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW Hits Starz Exclusively This Halloween
Darren Lynn Bousman’s Spiral: From the Book of Saw will launch exclusively on Starz on October 8th. The deal is part of Lionsgate’s new theatrical output agreement with Starz for its Lionsgate and Summit label films.

Starz president of domestic networks Alison Hoffman said in a statement: “Starz is excited to expand upon our recently announced theatrical output agreement with Lionsgate, bringing more premium content to our subscribers ahead of schedule with Spiral and the blockbuster Saw franchise.”

Synopsis: A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Rock) and his rookie partner (Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
Darren Lynn Bousman directs Spiral: From the Book of Saw from a screenplay written by Josh Stolberg and also Peter Goldfinger from a story by Chris Rock. Based on the original film by James Wan (The Conjuring) and Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man).
