Sounds like fun to us!

The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs hits the Shudder TV feed, Friday @ 9 pm (EST).

Lustig directed Maniac Cop which follows two New York policemen (Tom Atkins, Bruce Campbell) and a policewoman (Laurene Landon) on the hunt for a killer in uniform who should be dead. The film was followed by two sequels, Maniac Cop 2 (1990) and Maniac Cop III: Badge of Silence (1993).

On The Last Drive-In, Briggs, the world’s foremost drive-in movie critic hosts eclectic horror movie double features, expounding upon their merits, histories, and significance to genre cinema. Shudder and Briggs first teamed up in July 2018, for the 24-hour marathon intended to be Briggs’ final farewell to televised movie hosting.

And then due to overwhelming popular demand, Shudder went ahead and brought back The Last Drive-In as a weekly series. Plus, multiple holiday specials. Matt Manjourides and Justin Martell produced The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. Austin Jennings directs.
