SCREAM Meets BACK TO THE FUTURE in New Slasher

Wanna know EXACTLY how to get me interested in your movie? Pitch it to me as Back to the Future meets Scream. Boom. I’m there. Case in point, the new teen horror flick Time Cut sports just that description.

With the promise of a time-traveling slasher, it makes sense that this new movie is produced by Christopher Landon. If that name doesn’t automatically ring a bell, he’s the writer-director behind such Blumhouse hits as Happy Death Day and Freaky.
Matt Kaplan will produce as well.

Madison Bailey (Outer Banks) and Antonia Gentry (Ginny & Georgia) will lead the film.
Hannah MacPherson (Hulu’s Into the Dark, Trinkets) will direct from a screenplay written by Michael Kennedy (Freaky) and Sono Patel (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).
Production is eying a June start in Canada.
Meanwhile, Radio Silence’s Scream hits January 14, 2022. Neve Campbell returns with franchise favorites like Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Marley Shelton. Jack Quaid joins them with Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, and Jenna Ortega.
