First Look at DON’T BREATHE 2 Now Set for August Release

It was announced this morning that Don’t Breathe 2 will arrive in theaters on August 13th. This news comes via USA Today who also scored the first image from the film and also a short synopsis. The image features Stephen Lang reprising his role as the Blind Man (who now has a name!) from the first Don’t Breathe, released in 2016.

Synopsis:
 Set years after the 2016 hit, the horror sequel catches up with blind veteran Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang). He’s been living in an isolated cabin but has his solace interrupted when past sins catch up to him.

Don’t Breathe 2 is directed by Rodo Sayagues from a screenplay he co-wrote with original Don’t Breathe director Fede Alvarez. In addition to Lang, the film also stars Rocci Williams, Stephanie Arcila, and Bobby Schofield.

Synopsis:
Rocky (Jane Levy), Alex and Money are three Detroit thieves who get their kicks by breaking into the houses of wealthy people. Money gets word about a blind veteran who won a major cash settlement following the death of his only child. Figuring he’s an easy target, the trio invades the man’s secluded home in an abandoned neighborhood. Finding themselves trapped inside, the young intruders must fight for their lives after making a shocking discovery about their supposedly helpless victim.
