Oscar winning director Barry Levinson’s horrifying The Bay (review here) recently made its debut in the US On Demand, but fear fans on UK shores will be delighted to know that come March 1, 2013, they’ll be able to experience the eco-terror freakout on the big screen courtesy of Momentum Pictures.
That’s right! No small home viewing business here. Instead, you can share the experience of never wanting to drink from local waters ever again with the crowds at your local cinema multiplex. Just look out for anyone sporting a seriously nasty rash…

Synopsis:
The quaint coastal town of Claridge, Maryland, thrives on the safe, tranquil and abundant waters of Chesapeake Bay. During their annual Independence Day celebrations, a gruesome plague is unleashed, quickly infecting the residents and turning them against each other.
