Trailer: Violent New Anime Series YASUKE Arrives on Netflix April 29th

Fans of violent anime will want to check out Yasuke when it arrives on Netflix beginning April 29th. The show tells the story of a black samurai on a dangerous mission. Check out the trailer and read more about the upcoming series below.

Synopsis:
The tale is set in a war-torn feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic, the greatest ronin never known, Yasuke, struggles to maintain a peaceful existence after a past life of violence. But when a local village becomes the center of social upheaval between warring daimyo, Yasuke must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child who is the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords. 

LeSean Thomas (Cannon Busters) created Yasuke. He also serves as executive producer and director. Revered Japanese animation studio MAPPA (Attack on Titan: The Final Season, Jujutsu Kaisen), with director and animator Takeshi Koike (Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine) responsible for character designs. Grammy Award-nominated artist Flying Lotus provides the music. Award-winning actor LaKeith Stanfield serving as executive producer and the voice of Yasuke.

Additionally, vocal talents for Yasuke are provided by Takehiro Hira. Plus, Maya Tanida, Ming-Na Wen, Paul Nakauchi, Darren Criss, Julie Marcus, and also William Christopher Stephens. Also Dia Frampton, Don Donahue, Amy Hill, and also Noshi Dalal.
