Get the First Look at the Poster for The Stranger Inside

With Danish filmmaker Adam Neutzksy-Wulff’s psychological thriller The Stranger Inside currently making the film market rounds, here’s a first look at the flick’s poster as well as an update from star Sarah Butler.

“There’s no trailer yet,” Butler, who starred in 2010’s I Spit on Your Grave and who in The Stranger Inside stars opposite Estella Warren (2001’s Planet of the Apes) and William Baldwin (Backdraft), said of the film, “[but] they had a sales trailer that I saw and went crazy about. It’s gonna be so good! I’ll let you know as soon as there’s anything to report.”

Written, produced (with Michael Aoun and Paul Tilly), and directed by Neutzsky-Wulff, The Stranger Inside filmed earlier this year in Mallorca, Spain, as well as in Copenhagen, Denmark, and New York, New York. Jeffrey Pierce (“Fear Itself”), Kim Bodnia (Pusher), and Katia Winter (“Dexter”) also star.

As for the narrative, the plot revolves around a beautiful young actress (Warren) who has a hard time distinguishing dreams from reality. To help her recover from a traumatic experience, she and her psychiatrist husband (Baldwin) vacation on a deserted island in the Mediterranean. Suddenly a young traveler (Butler) shows up after trying to save her boyfriend from a fatal fall. The jealousy between the two women drives the actress to throw her out, which prompts the traveler to…
