Jacob Tremblay Now Joins Cast of Legendary’s TOXIC AVENGER Reboot

Today brings word that Jacob Tremblay will join Peter Dinklage in Legendary’s remake of The Toxic Avenger. Macon Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore) is attached to direct. Deadline broke the news.

Currently 14-years-old, Tremblay has the filmography of a horror legend, having appeared in movies like Room, Before I Wake, The Predator, and Doctor Sleep.

The original Toxic Avenger was released in 1984; it was co-directed by Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman from a screenplay by Joe Ritter. The film inspired three sequels, a musical, a video game, and even a cartoon for kids. Synopsis:
A 98-pound nerd (Mark Torgl) from New Jersey lands in a vat of toxic waste and becomes a benevolent monster (Mitchell Cohen).
